Shannon Black

Shannon Black is a graduate of the Queensland College of Art with a degree in fine art photography. She has been exhibited and published internationally, gracing the covers of many albums and books.

Moving to Los Angeles in 2007, Shannon joined Drexel Box with the entry of her first short film, Black String Theory. In 2010 she assumed the role of cinematographer and shot her first feature The Dead Inside. A few months later she shot Ward Robert’s action comedy Dust Up.

See also directed and shot the music video Good Day Today and the short film Robotmance. Most recently she co-wrote and directed the shorts Poison Pussy Cat and Lady Spaceman with Travis Betz.

She also owes me ten dollars for writing her bio for her.
